Scientific Thinking

Course Description
This course is about stewardship of God’s earth, with consideration of how both biological and physical processes inform our stewardship practices. To be better stewards, we explore how the scientific process works and how it can inform our interactions with God's creation.

My teaching of the course focuses on streams, rivers, and lakes, considering the questions: What’s in our water?  What are threats to water quality and aquatic ecosystems? How can we better care for creation, whether it be the creek running through campus or the oceans across the world?

This course is part of Trinity's new Foundations program and also meets a requirement for Environmental Science majors.
